Sara Lowe (Italian British b.1977) is self taught photorealist portrait artist and abstract painter. Her passion is to recreate art taken from photographs and draw lifelike pictures using a freestyle from of creation. Lowe's work shifts between different artistic styles, depending on the source imagery that is being recreated. Sara develops drawings which are both intricate and with lots of detailing. As for the creation of Lowe's abstracts, it straddle's both different but fascinating visions and imaginative thought based elements. Sara resides in Linslade, Bedfordshire and exhibits her work locally.
Sara’s interest involves raising awareness for ME/CFS, Down’s Syndrome and Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Sara sing’s Soprano for the Bazil Meade Gospel Music Academy. Sara has previously worked as a Fujifilm camera engineer, in Research and Development, Clinical Governance for the NHS, and in Psychotherapy. Sara is a member of the Royal Life Saving Society, and the Leighton Buzzard Athletics Club. A full bio can be found on this website.
